Therapy Processes FAQ
-
Every child develops at their own pace, but sometimes a little extra support can allow them to reach their fullest potential. You may consider a physical therapy evaluation if your child:
Seems delayed in rolling, sitting, crawling, or walking compared to peers
Has difficulty with balance, coordination, or strength
Prefers to use one side of their body more than the other
Has a diagnosis or medical history that affects movement (such as torticollis, cerebral palsy, prematurity, etc.)
Experiences frequent falls or seems clumsy for their age
Walks on their toes or has an unusual walking pattern
And just as important—trust your parent instincts. If your parent gut is telling you something feels “off” with your child’s movement, it’s always worth reaching out. Many families seek an evaluation simply because they want reassurance, and often that early step makes all the difference. You know your child best, and Nicole is here to support you.
-
Sessions will be unique to each child. They will be goal focused— use games, songs, and activities that your child enjoys while working on strength, coordination, and movement skills. Parents are encouraged to observe or participate so you can carry strategies into daily routines.
-
A typical session will be 55 minutes. Intensives may have slightly different timing, but we always keep your child’s endurance, motivation, and comfort in mind when building their intensive program.

Intensive Therapy FAQ
-
An intensive is a focused block of therapy sessions designed to give your child the consistency and repetition they need to make faster progress and improve their neuroplasticity. Instead of weekly therapy, intensives typically involve daily sessions over 1–3 weeks. This schedule allows us to build on skills each day, helping your child’s body and brain “lock in” new movement patterns more quickly.
-
Intensives can benefit many children—from babies working on rolling or crawling, to older kids improving strength, balance, or walking. They may be especially helpful if your child:
Needs a boost to reach the next milestone
Is preparing for a transition (like starting school or after surgery)
Makes progress with therapy, but loses momentum between sessions
Responds well to structure, consistency, and repetition
If you’re unsure, please reach out to schedule a free 30 minute consultation phone call with Nicole.

Each intensive is tailored to your child’s unique needs, but typically includes:
Daily therapy sessions with personalized exercises
Parent education and hands-on coaching so you can continue progress at home
Use of specialized equipment (like DMI box sets)
Families also receive guidance and encouragement every step of the way—we’re partners in this process!

Payment and Policies FAQ
-
Kidvincible has chosen to operate as a private pay practice in order to provide the highest quality of care without limitations and restrictions often imposed by insurance companies. This allows us to:
Focus on your child’s unique needs and treat the whole child - not just want insurance deems as “medically necessary”
Provide longer, more in-depth sessions without rushed time limits
Offer more flexible scheduling and individualized treatment plans
Avoid delays in care to insurance approvals or denials.
By removing the insurance middleman, we can prioritize your child’s progress, comfort, and outcomes.
Kidvincible can offer you a superbill upon request that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
